Fall Placemats

| Create several unique placemats by varying fabric colors and sizes! |
| Instructions |
| 1. Iron fabric stabilizer onto all pieces of fabric according to manufacturer’s instructions. |
| 2. Cut give thanks. Using Designer's Calendar cartridge and yellow printed fabric, select Events feature, press Shift and cut one 5" <4>. Repeat cut using brown fabric. Layer and iron onto center of placemat. |
| 3. Cut leaves. Using Speaking of Fall cartridge and dark green printed fabric, select Layers Shadow feature and cut one 4" and one 3" <P>. Repeat cuts using medium green printed fabric. Using gold printed fabric, select Layers Shadow feature and cut one 3" <O>. Using gold printed fabric, select Layers Shadow feature and cut one 4 ½" and one 3" <C>. Using burgundy printed fabric, select Shadow feature and cut one 3" <1>. Using light green printed fabric, select Layers Shadow feature and cut one 3" <A>. |
| 4. Iron all leaves onto placemat as shown. Add buttons to mat, stitching in place as shown. |

- Fabric placemat: tan woven
- Printed fabric: light green, medium green, dark green, gold, burgundy, yellow, brown
- Iron-on fabric stabilizer and iron
- Acorn-shaped buttons
- Needle and brown thread
