Celebrate the arrival of spring with this whimsical banner!
Instructions
1. Open a new project in Cricut DesignStudio. Using the George and Basic Shapes cartridge, select one <triangl1>. Size triangle to 5 ¾" x 6 ¾". Cut twelve of these triangles from white cardstock.
2. Cut think spring. Using Doodletype cartridge and white cardstock, select Shadow feature and cut 3 ½" letters to spell think spring. Repeat cuts using light green cardstock. Layer light green letters on top of white letters. Adhere one letter to the middle of each triangle as shown. One triangle will be left over.
3. Cut circles. Using George and Basic Shapes cartridge and pink polka dot cardstock, press Shift and cut twelve 1" <circle>. Repeat cuts using white cardstock. Adhere circles to the bottom of every triangle as shown, pink on the front and white on the back.
4. Cut small triangles. Using patterned cardstock, cut twelve 1 ¼" <triangl1>. Repeat cuts using three different colors of patterned cardstock. Adhere one of each triangle along the top of the large triangles, overlapping slightly.
5. Add eyelets in the top corners of the large triangles.
6. Cut flowers. Using Walk in My Garden cartridge, create twelve small flowers using glitter cardstock, brads, and embellishments of choice. Use the brads to hook triangles together to form banner. The blank triangle should be between think and spring. Create a larger flower to fit on blank triangle.
7. Add additional embellishments as desired. Add ribbon to both ends of the banner so it can be hung.
