| Instructions |
| 1. Back fabric and felt with fabric stabilizer. Follow manufacturer’s instructions. This is necessary for the Cricut Expression® machine to cut the fabric and felt. |
| 2. Cut one 21" x 7 ¾" block of patterned fabric. Cut one 22" x 8 ¾" block of a different patterned fabric. Cut 11 ¼" x 9 ¼" blocks of light green felt and blue felt. Layer together as shown and sew in place to create book. Cut edges to create fringe. |
| 3. Using green fabric, cut one 4" <Square>. Using yellow patterned fabric, cut one 5" <Duck>. Using patterned fabric, create fringe and place behind square. Layer together. Sew to front cover. Embellish with ribbon and pink button. |
| 4. Using water blue felt, cut one 4" <Pond>. Using white felt, press Shift and cut one 4" <Pond-s>. Layer together. Use glue gun to adhere sides and bottom of pond to first page to create pocket. |
| 5. Using brown felt, cut one 4" <Trees>. Using green felt, press Shift and cut one 4" <Tree-s>. Layer and adhere to first page. Tie jute through red buttons and adhere to trees. |
| 6. Using yellow felt, cut one 4" <Fish>. Repeat cut twice using Flip function. Repeat cut using orange felt. Using yellow felt, press Shift and cut one 4" <Fish-s>. Repeat cut using orange felt. Using orange felt, cut one 4" <Duck>. Repeat cut using Flip function. Using yellow felt, press Shift and cut one 4" <Duck-s>. Assemble fish and duck. |
| 7. Using green patterned fabric, cut one 4" <Field>. Repeat using Flip function. Layer together and blanket stitch to second page. Stitch around bottom and sides to create pocket. |
| 8. Using orange patterned fabric, cut one 4" <Sun1>. Repeat cut using yellow felt and Flip function. Using yellow patterned fabric, press Shift and cut one 4" <Sun1-s>. Layer together. |
| 9. Using yellow felt, cut one 4" <Moon>. Repeat cut using Flip function. Using yellow felt, press Shift and cut two 4" <Star1>. Repeat cuts using Flip function. Using yellow felt, press Shift and cut one 4" <Lghtning>. Repeat cut using Flip function. Layer together. |
| 10. Using white felt, cut one 4" <Cloud>. Repeat cut using Flip function. Layer together. |
| 11. Using black felt, cut one 4" <Sheep>. Repeat cut using Flip function. Using white felt, press Shift and cut one 4" <Sheep-s>. Layer together. |
| 12. Using brown felt, press Shift and cut one 4" <Field-s>. Repeat cut using Flip function. Layer together. |
| 13. Place all sheep scene pieces in the field pocket and all pond scene pieces in the pond pocket. |

- Fabric: three coordinating patterns, yellow patterned, green, green patterned
- Felt: green, light green, brown, yellow, orange, water blue, blue, white, black
- Sewing machine and supplies
- Fabric stabilizer and iron
- Buttons: 5 red, 1 pink
- Ribbon: pink
- Jute
- Hot glue gun
