| Instructions |
| 1. Use one 12" x 12" sheet of red patterned cardstock as layout base. |
| 2. Cut one 8" x 8" green square. Ink edges. Adhere photograph to right side of square. Adhere square to center of layout |
| 3. Cut two 8" long strips of striped paper. Round top corners. Ink edges. Adhere strips to top and bottom of green square as shown. Using polka dot cardstock, cut a small triangle to fit in corner of green square. Ink edges and adhere as shown. |
| 4. Adhere journaling spot to left of photograph. |
| 5. Cut title. Using Blackletter cartridge and red cardstock, cut 1 ½" letters to spell Dear Santa. Repeat cuts using black cardstock and Shadow feature. Layer and adhere title to journaling spot as shown. |
| 6. Add journaling. |
| 7. Cut leaves. Using polka dot cardstock, cut one 3" <Leaf>. Repeat cut using Shadow feature and black cardstock. Using polka dot cardstock, press Shift and cut one 3" <Leaf-s>. Repeat cut using Shadow feature and black cardstock. Adhere leaves to layout as shown. |
| 8. Tie thread through buttons. Adhere buttons to layout as desired. Add stickers to layout as desired. |

- Red buttons and white thread
- Journaling spot

- Star stickers: patterned
- Ink pad: black
- Paper trimmer
