My name is Sue Helfrich. I am the Provo Craft Sample Project Coordinator. I also design projects used for advertising. I was born in Somerset, England so I have that funny accent. Springville, Utah is where I currently live. My husband Pete is from New Jersey but we have spent most of our married life in Germany with the military. We have 8 children - 5 handsome sons, 3 beautiful daughters, and 6 wonderful grandchildren.
Since I was a young child, I have always loved to paint, draw, sew, knit, taking pictures - anything creative. When I was 9-10, I used to knit my own sweaters. At 11, I won a painting competition over all the schools in Somerset. At 14, I designed and sewed my own clothes. Some turned out better then others. That?s how I met my best friend Suzanne; she liked the dress that I made so I made her one. We are still best friends after all these years [not saying how many]. I love fabric and color.
In my pastime, I love to be with my family, travel, family history, reading, snuggling up with a cozy blanket watching Pride and Prejudice, Ann of Green Gables, or some old English comedy show. I love the Cricut, the YourStory and the new Yudu. I feel that they help me express my creative side.
